Narrative/Systemic Design Specialization

I focus on building narrative systems from the ground up.
My approach starts with simple gameplay logic—small, modular systems—and grows outward into layered stories that players discover through interaction.

Instead of relying on heavy exposition, I design mechanics that let the world respond to the player's choices. This creates a sense of meaning that feels personal and earned, with overlapping narratives shaped by space, perspective, and curiosity.

Experimental Approaches to Game Design and Art Design

Just as composers use tension and release to guide emotion in music, I bring that same principle into game design. At WaveTouch, gameplay is treated like an interactive composition—where every mechanic, space, and moment contributes to a broader narrative rhythm.

By studying how tension and release work across environmental design, narrative arcs, and pacing, I created a framework for building complete game worlds. This system allows subsystems to grow independently, while still aligning with a larger architectural vision.

The result is a fractal-style design method, where every layer—from micro-interaction to macro-narrative—echoes the same internal logic and expressive intent.
